Notes:

GIS Pro/ArcGIS Online

ArcGIS Pro is on the list to be implemented across campus. There is no set date, but things are moving along.

There is a plan to create a step by step support article to get users up and running, but is blocked by this implementation.

GIS Servers

Library is working on an Open Geo Portal for one of their projects. Contact Robert for more information. The plan is to document the lessons learned so that a central ArcGIS Server (linux) implementation will take off smoothly.

GIS Users Group

  • Congrats to Michelle Wienhold on being nominated to lead the GIS-Users group.
  • The complete survey results were read out loud.
  • Michelle plans to hold both informal/formal meetings bi-monthly with a quarterly break during the summer.

Trainings

Adam Skibbe is holding an "Introduction to GIS using ArcGIS," on April 1st, from 8-12am. Contact Adam to register.

Steering Committee

The TAC group is starting for form the steering committee. There has been a call for nominations.

ESRI Conference

The ESRI User Conference is in July, and we want to know who will be going to represent the University.

IGIC Conference

The IGIC Conference will be this April in Pella, IA. More information can be found on their website. The TAC encourages folks to sign up for their mailing list.
